You will have a high degree of control over your life and know what you want. I believe that self-esteem comes from within and, like a muscle, will get stronger the more we develop it. Many people experience a lack of self-confidence in certain situations or contexts. Common situations in which people can experience this state are before a test, dating, public speaking, stage fright, fear of driving, fear of flying, fear of commitment, fear of operations, fear of rejection or cold calling. Sometimes in other cases it is a more general feeling of lack of confidence. If you can think of any situations where this occurs then coaching can help.

The life coaching profession is currently unregulated, therefore it’s difficult to know which course to train with. I trained with New Insights and Trilogy However, there are various routes into the profession. I would recommend that before you make a decision it can be useful to actually go and see a life coach yourself so you can learn about what it involves. I was life coached while I did my course and found it really useful. I run a private one on one life coaching sessions which will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge of the field, learn about approaches to coaching, and the kind of skills you need to develop to become a coach. I also run a private one-on-one life coaching sessions for people who are newly qualified life coaches and are looking for someone to mentor them and talk through any issues they are encountering.
