18 Apr Why low confidence means We do not Live an Authentic Life
Justify your decisions:
We often get ourselves in a situation where we have to decide between work and other activities. For example, if we are studying and want to go out, we calm our brain and mind by making excuses like if I study 2 hours tomorrow I can cover the syllabus in time or this chapter is not important enough to spend that much of time.
If you are dieting and really wanted to eat the junk food, you ease your mind with terms like cheat days and only this time but, in reality, you end up disturbing your healthy routine.
In situations like these, we always fool ourselves and try to put the blame on situations and other people. We are the one that are making the choices and we need to make sure we are not putting the blame on others and be confident enough to accept the decisions and their consequences that we are making.
You need to accept your true desires and prioritize your decisions according. So, if you want to go out, don’t mix that emotion with studies. Just be focused enough to balance the play and the work at the same time.
